Finding the story in the
moments that matter.

From much-loved pets to the people beside them and stories from the natural world, my work is about creating beautiful, honest imagery with feeling.

With a background in wildlife documentary production, I’m drawn to character, behaviour and the moments that happen naturally when you give them space.

Behind the camera

Hi, I’m Jess.

I’m a photographer and filmmaker with a particular love for animals, wildlife and the stories found in the natural world.

I completed my Master’s in Wildlife Documentary Production, where I developed not only the technical side of filmmaking, but something that now influences all of my work: learning to watch.

Animals don’t perform on cue. The best moments often happen in between the ones you planned for. I give them time, understand what’s happening in front of me and capture the details that make the story real.

Pet photography

For the ones who leave
pawprints everywhere.

They’re never just a pet.

It’s the expression you know instantly. The ears that never quite sit straight. The way they look at you. The habits that make you laugh and the tiny details you’d recognise anywhere.

My pet portrait sessions are relaxed and unhurried, giving your animal time to settle and allowing their real character to come through.

Headshots & Outdoor Branding

Professional photography that
looks like your business.

When you’re the face of a small business, people aren’t only choosing what you do. They’re choosing who they’ll be dealing with. Strong professional imagery helps potential clients put a face to the name, build familiarity and see the professionalism behind your business.

And professional doesn’t have to mean a studio, an office or a plain backdrop.

If your working world is outdoors, your branding photography can be too.

Natural headshots and outdoor branding portraits are ideal for independent businesses that feel more at home outside, from gardeners and landscapers to outdoor trades, dog trainers, equine professionals and rural businesses.

One session gives you a versatile collection of professional images to use across your website, social media, professional profiles, press and marketing. Think strong headshots, relaxed wider portraits and photographs in surroundings that actually make sense for your business.

Put a face to the business

Professional headshots that help potential clients recognise and connect with the person behind the name.

02

Look like the business you’ve built

Consistent, high-quality imagery helps your website and marketing feel considered, credible and established.

03

Make it relevant to you

Sessions take place outdoors, in surroundings that suit your business, whether that’s a garden, countryside, yard or another appropriate outdoor setting.

Short-form film

Stories you don’t just watch.
You feel.

Some stories need movement. The flick of an ear, a glance between horse and rider, hands at work, changing light, a moment that disappears almost as quickly as it arrives.

Short-form film brings those details together into something atmospheric, considered and emotionally engaging. The aim isn’t simply to document what happened, but to create something that makes people stop, watch and feel connected to what they’re seeing.

Created for the places stories are shared today, from websites and digital campaigns to social media, each film is shaped around the story rather than a formula or trend.

For social media, that means films strong enough to stop the scroll, but with enough substance to reward the pause.

Beautifully observed. Made to be felt. Created to be shared.

The natural world

Wild at heart.

Wildlife has always been at the centre of my work.

My Master’s in Wildlife Documentary Production developed my skills in visual storytelling, fieldcraft and filmmaking, and strengthened the thing I love most about working with animals: observing behaviour and allowing stories to unfold naturally.
